Josie Brown  is the visionary founder of the camp, following in the foot steps of her father, blending outdoor adventure with creative learning. Driven by her lifelong  passion for youth, her  leadership inspires campers and staff to grow, explore, and thrive together every single day.

"Farmer John" Brown is a beloved part of our summer camp and 7B ranch.   He takes the campers on  exciting hayrides, helps campers feed cows and appreciate ranch life.  He ends each day singing old folk songs at  campfire, creating unforgettable memories for everyone to enjoy together.

Maria Vollmar, our Camp Director, also known as the Barefoot Boss, has been part of camp life since 2013 when she arrived as a teen backpacker. A UC Davis Wildlife Conservation graduate, Maria inspires every person around her to care about our Earth. Oh yes, and without a doubt, she is also a very accomplished artist and spellbinding storyteller!

Hope Reinman, our Chief Chef and Kitchen Manager   fills our summer camp days with incredible meals made from local meats, fresh salads, and a special dessert each day. With snacks always at the ready, she keeps campers energized and happy.

Her daily wisdom, warmth, and love nourish our entire community just as much as her unforgettable food. You'll get to try her Sloppy Josie's here at camp.
